Welcome to the new Savory website

Find exactly what you need on our simpler & easier-to-navigate site

Notice that things look a little different around here? That’s because you are currently browsing Savory’s recently revamped, new and improved, chock-full-of-everything-you-need-to-know website!

Our previous website was revamped in 2019 — ancient by web design standards — so this full site redesign was long overdue. We had been listening to feedback and realized the past site, albeit beautiful, didn’t have all the information folks needed to fully engage with our programs, and the design was a bit bulky and caused slower load times in parts of the world with limited bandwidth. So, we set out to create something that addressed these two main concerns, while at the same time giving a facelift to the design.

Let’s take a tour…

Map of Hubs & Projects

One of the first things you’ll come across as you scroll the new homepage is an interactive map containing information about all our global work. You can filter the map by Hubs that are fully accredited, Hubs that are in training (aka “candidates”), and/or Savory-led projects.

These projects, by the way, are something we’ve been working hard on the last few years as part of our newly launched Savory Foundation, we’ve just been so busy working on them we haven’t had time to share them with the world.

As for Savory Hubs, each accredited Hub has a dedicated page on the Savory site where you can learn more about their work and engage them for Holistic Management training, implementation support, or Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV) land monitoring services. Just click a Hub on the map to reveal a popup, then click “Learn More →” to be taken to their page.

Detailed Accreditation How-To’s

If you’ve ever thought about starting a Savory Hub — or perhaps becoming an accredited Holistic Management educator or an EOV Monitor — we’ve now published detailed step-by-step instructions on the various accreditation processes. These processes have evolved over the years, so we’ve tried to take the guesswork out of it for those that have come in at different points.

Bonus how-to: we’ve also added step-by-step instructions for getting your farm or ranch set up with EOV. You can find that on the EOV page.

EOV Manual

Speaking of EOV and how-to’s, the EOV manual is no longer in PDF form and we’ve migrated it to a digital version. Gone are the days where minor updates to the manual require new PDF’s to be created and sent out, taking up valuable space on your computer and creating confusion about which version is the latest.

Also, most web browsers today perform instant translations, so this new digital manual will allow its content to be accessible to more people in more corners of the globe. We’re always working hard to translate our materials into new languages, but sometimes you need to work smarter not harder! Browse the new digital EOV Manual.

The Library

One of the frequent questions we hear at Savory is “Where’s the science supporting Holistic Management?” While our old site had a science library, a resource library, and a media center, finding the right asset wasn’t as user-friendly as it could have been, so we’ve consolidated things into one giant library with improved functionality.

In the new Savory Library, you can search for science articles, case studies, reports, books, films, infographics, and more, all under one roof. Plus, you can filter results by asset type, topic, or tag. Looking for case studies in Africa, infographics about methane, or how-to videos about ecosystem processes?

There’s plenty to discover, plus a lot more entries in the queue to be added soon. There’s also an open-ended search bar and some recommended popular searches if you’re not sure where to start. Search the Savory Library.

Help Center

As you can tell, we’re putting a lot of effort into providing clear, accessible information and resources all throughout the new site. That said, we know you still might have questions. Maybe you’re a Regenerating Member that needs to change your credit card information, you need to reset your password for an online course, or maybe you’re looking for something more nuanced like the differences between the commercial and communal Holistic Management curriculums.

For these questions — and so many more — we’ve launched the Help Center. This detailed knowledge base is filled with answers to all sorts of common and not-so-common questions, and our intent is to continuously add to it as we identify new questions that people seem to be having.

Have a question that needs answering? Find your answer in the Help Center.

Not sure where to begin?

Each and every one of us has a role to play in this movement to regenerate our global grasslands, you might have just not found your path yet.

Try the Find Your Path page to see all the various ways you can get involved, whether that be through accreditation, taking a course, getting started with EOV, or becoming a Regenerating Member.

…now go explore!

There is so much to see and do on this new www.savory.global site, way more than we showed you above. We hope you can carve out some time to explore it and re-acquaint yourself with our work.

And lastly, if you appreciate the effort that went into creating this new website, please consider supporting Savory with a financial gift. No amount is too small, and it will go a long way towards helping us develop new resources… just like this site.

Happy browsing!
