Unwavering Implementation | 2019 Annual Report

Looking back on the headlines of 2019, one would think that all hope is lost.

The Amazon is burning. Coral reefs are bleaching. Atmospheric CO2 hit an all-time high of 415ppm. More wildfires. Record-breaking droughts.

…but don’t let the news fool you.

Despite the shocking headlines, there’s another story… a story of hope… and it hasn’t been getting nearly enough attention:

The global movement underway of farmers, brands, and consumers all doing their part to regenerate our global grasslands!

And it’s not just that this movement exists, it’s that it’s gaining in momentum… quite rapidly in fact. Want to see everything the Savory Global Network has been up to lately?

Download Savory’s 2018-2019 annual report to see what we’ve been up to. Just released today, we’re proud to bring you this report on the Savory Institute, the Savory Global Network, and Land to Market.

As of the publishing of this report, we are excited to share that we have reached a total of 46 Savory Hubs across the globe – nearly half way to our goal of 100 Hubs by 2025.

The Savory Network has grown to bring the influence of Holistic Management to over 10,000,000 hectares of land, with nearly 8,000 hard working leaders trained in Holistic Management.

We here at the Savory Institute are inspired by and grateful for our partners and supporters, who make this work not only possible but profoundly fulfilling.

This community is irrevocably altering the fate of the grasslands and the course of climate, and forging a path of hope in these challenging times.

I continue to feel optimistic, and that together we will soon be able to shift consciousness and embrace management that is holistic so that institutional policies do address the root cause of global desertification and climate change. Where I once believed this was unlikely to occur in my lifetime, I now believe it will be as the Holistic Management framework is being used by so many to restore our environment.

I am incredibly grateful to this community of collaborating individuals and organizations that deeply understands the scope of the challenges humanity faces, and is pouring resources and passion into this incredibly important work.
