Land to Market Announces First Verified Regeneratively Sourced Beef Hot Dog

Keller Crafted’s sugar-free, bone broth-infused Land to Market verified beef hot dog supports agriculture that is proven to help heal the planet

Boulder, CO (September 14, 2021) — Land to Market, the world’s first verified sourcing solution for regenerative agriculture, together with Keller Crafted, today announced the first regeneratively sourced beef hot dog with a Land to Market verified seal. Land to Market, a program within the Savory Institute, has attracted some of the world’s leading brands seeking to make an impact on the climate crisis by restoring the land with measurable outcomes. Keller Crafted’s new Land to Market verified beef hot dog infuses nutrient-dense bone broth with organic seasoning and organically approved recipes to protect the integrity of meat.

“This is a big moment for regenerative agriculture. People are concerned about the environment and thoughtful about how their food choices affect the planet,” said David Rizzo, co-leader of Land to Market. “Now people can choose to enjoy delicious hot dogs that also help heal our planet. There has never been a greater urgency to regeneratively source food, and we’re happy to partner with Keller Crafted to help meet that huge consumer demand,” said Chris Kerston, co-leader of Land to Market.

Regenerative agriculture builds soil fertility, sequesters carbon, improves watersheds and supports biodiversity. Land to Market works directly with farmers, ranchers and other raw material producers using Ecological Outcomes Verification (EOVTM), a scientific protocol developed by the Savory Institute to empirically measure regenerative outcomes on the land. Land to Market-labeled products are sourced from land showing positive regenerative outcomes through EOVTM

First Verified Regeneratively Sourced Beef Hot Dog - Keller Crafted - Land to Market

Keller Crafted is an impact-driven meat company based in Northern California that seeks to create a farm-direct food chain and support progressive farmers, regenerate farm land, treat animals humanely, and create culinary quality, nourishing food.

“For years, we envisioned crafting a nutrient dense hot dog from regionally sourced grass-finished beef raised in a way proven to regenerate the planet and promote biodiversity. We wanted to utilize the whole animal and nourish people’s bodies,” said Mark Keller, founder and CEO of Keller Crafted. “We know hot dogs hold a special place in Americans’ lives. People eat them, but are never quite sure what mystery meat they’re consuming. With the new Keller Crafted regenerative beef hot dog we’re turning the tables on that dynamic and exposing all the goodness that goes into every link. With the Land to Market verification, consumers can be confident that choices they make are good for the planet.”
