The project was conceived with the mission to allow UGG (through its parent company, Deckers Brands) to establish a grant program that will provide holistic solutions and world-class implementation to promote soil health and biodiversity, with a goal of transitioning the Australian sheepskin industry to regenerative farming practices’. The Savory Institute is working closely with its Land to Market colleagues and the Australian Hub to meet the project objectives. Participant farms are located throughout Australia and cover a multitude of ecoregions.
