White Buffalo Land Trust

White Buffalo Land Trust is focused on restoring our ecosystem through agriculture. They practice, promote, and develop systems of regenerative agriculture for local, regional, and global impact through land stewardship, education and training, scientific research, and enterprise development.

Led by Jesse and Ana Smith in Santa Barbara, CA, the White Buffalo hub offers Holistic Management Training, network development, and land steward support. White Buffalo currently stewards the 1,000 acre Jalama Canyon Ranch that they are developing into a Center for Regenerative Agriculture, and a 12 acre demonstration farm that serves as a living example of the principles, practices and techniques of regenerative agriculture in action.

Their team of active land stewards, researchers, educators, and innovators are committed to the evolution of land stewardship and the redesign of our food system to directly address the climate, biodiversity, public health, and food security challenges that we face today.
