The Indus Valley Hub in Pakistan is working to convert Drylands that cover 78% of Pakistan’s entire territory into Forests & Grazing Pastures.
This will transform the economy of Pakistan, eliminate its poverty and make a meaningful contribution to removal of greenhouse gasses from the atmosphere of the whole world.
More importantly, the work the Hub has undertaken, may help Pakistan deal successfully with its “existential problem” which is that Pakistan, with almost twice the proportion of Drylands on its territory compared to the rest of the world, is more vulnerable than any other large country to “Water Starvation.”
