EOV Monitor and Hub Verifier In-Person Course

This 4-day and in-person EOV Monitor course will be taught by Matt Raven, a Savory Insitute Master Verifier, and Daniel Griffith, the Director and lead educator of the Robinia Instute (Timshel’s Savory Hub).

As a graduate of this training and following field work, you will be accredited to help in the set-up of Long Term Monitoring and carry out Annual Short Term Monitoring. This 4-day course will allow you to become an Accredited Monitor of EOV.

Following the course, you will complete an exit interview with a Savory Institute Master Verifier to become accredited as a Monitor.

Note: You do not have to be an Accredited Professional (AP) of the Savory Institute to attend the EOV training (although the AP coursework does help make the EOV training easier). The training is designed for people working to become Hub Verifiers as well as the Monitors working with the Hub Verifier. To be a Hub Verifier they will need to pass their exit interview (but it is not required prior to the class). To be a Monitor they can attend the class without needing to be an AP.

This course and its fees include 1 ticket to the training and lodging at Timshel Wildland (camping gear not included), and morning and afternoon tea, coffee, and snacks. All attendees are responsible to bring their own food and have access to a fridge/freezer and cooktop (propane stove).
