Community Facilitators Training Program/ Training of Trainers

This is a 12 day in-depth course which train people on how to train, mentor and mobilize communities for Holistic Land and Livestock Management. In this course you will learn more about the fundamental building blocks of Holistic Management which are critical for the successful implementation of Holistic Management. The four key insights, the ecosystem processes and the tools to manage them, and the decision-making process that in turn guides management. In addition to learning how to successfully train and mentor community core groups, committees and livestock owners in specific planning and management skills; participants also focus on mobilization strategy as a way to overcome the challenges many communities experience. Field visits to the nearby Hwange Communal Lands enables participants to benefit from first-hand exposure to the challenges and rewards communities face in using livestock to restore their land.

Holistic financial planning,
Land & Social Planning for Grazing
Holistic planned grazing
Herding to a grazing plan
Herd management
Biological land monitoring.
