CFAR – Fundamentals of Resilient Agriculture

Will Harris, White Oak Pastures’ 4th Generation and owner, founded a 501c3 non-profit called the Center for Agricultural Resilience. Each day will begin with a farm-cooked breakfast and end with an equally delicious farm-fresh supper.

The CFAR Fundamentals Session: Water Focus. Our guest speaker for the September session will be Bryan Hummel.

Bryan is a Central Texas native and a biologist by birth. He has incorporated nature-based green-infrastructure biomimicry practices into several habitat regeneration projects across private, state, and federal lands. Nature-Based principals often improve the health of the ecosystem and convert flooding liabilities into agricultural abundance and groundwater assets. His focus is on “teaming with nature” to benefit People, Planet, and Profits.
