EVENT DESCRIPTION

Please consider joining us for UVE’s online Holistic Grazing Planning and Ecological Monitoring virtual course, which starts in a week. It will be held every Thursday from April 4 to June 20, from 10 am to 1 pm PDT.

You can register here.

Guided by Tony Malmberg, Beth Robinette, Jackie Eshelman, and Caitlin Roberts, it is sure to be an enriching experience—just in time to complete and implement your growing/open-season (for those in the north) or dormant/closed (for those in the south) grazing plans (or assist others caring for livestock and monitoring land) backed by a keen sense of listening to what the ecosystem processes are telling us about our management.

The course will be running a bit differently. The goal is that we use our precious in-class time to clarify, deepen (understanding your context), and widen (connection and understanding across other contexts), not introduce knowledge during class time.

You are expected to watch the “lecture portions” during the week as part of your home play. Coming prepared will be essential, as class time will be used to answer questions, share insights about the material you’ve been engaged with, review, and deepen learning through our mutual connections.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting and you will be entered into our Regraians.Workspace group. All meetings will be recorded if you need to miss a class or want further review.

You will be joining some of UVE's crew as we create our holistic grazing plans alongside you and build our capacity to understand further how we can improve ecosystem processes, profitably raise healthy livestock, make holistic decisions, and enhance our well-being.

Looking forward to seeing you next week!
